Universal Indicator EA - Expert Advisor for any indicator

this is trading from last 12 hours by Beta version, 3 indicators, live account, indy's need some tune up, but EA is working like charm. Very sophisticated EA.
Mr. Afsal did great job.
I see that people are using inappropriate language.
Don't ask me for indy's or set file, as seems to me that majority of the people are waiting for free lunch, or as Irish would say: not the fastest rabbit in the forest.

it's not paid version.
Just downloaded EA from the link provided, it is expired.
I guess I was lucky to download it before expire date was inserted.

Still, it's hit and miss when it comes to opening and closing orders.

any guide how to use with indicator?
I use Hull moving average to get entry, and 2 William % indicator with OB/OS zone for condition to entry
all indicator have arrow
 
Hi Afsal,

further errors I have found.

1. When using the limit or stop order instead of market order, it seems the default lot cannot be changed and is fixed at 0.01
2. Equity % to calculate lot or risk per trade cant go higher than 0.03 (30%). If I enter 40 then it wants to open orders of 11+ lot size so this big jump is indicating something wrong in the coding.
3. When I set stop loss at 0 then the EA uses fixed / start lot size and ignores Equity (%) setting

I understand this is a Beta version so hope you appreciate my findings while I test this EA.

Hello Jeff,

There is no errors in risk management in latest versions. Please make sure you are using latest beta version 11.61.

1) Market or Limit order have no difference while calculating the risk. Both have same calculation for risk based on Sl and risk settings. You need to make fixed lot value = 0 for Risk % to work.
2) Risk % is calculated right if you put the right settings
3) This is because risk cannot be calculated without sl. In latest version you can calculate lot based on risk without any sl.

Please check latest version 11.61

Hi Afsal,

Thanks for your response and the update. I have tested 11.61 and still can't get the risk setting right :(

Testing is based on a 10k account and single entry trades (Stop orders) so no martingale or more than 1 trade per signal.
From image 1 you will see I have 0 under fixed and 0 for equity % for lot calc. so using total account at the time of each trade.
With 100 in Equity % to risk per trade it only opens 0.08 lot which is far too low.
I have a fixed SL (36 pips) and fixed TP (64 pips) in settings

So for a trade of 0.08 for 36pips SL is about 290$ risk which is then 3% of equity and not 100% like I enter in settings. Please, what am I doing wrong?
(attached is the test setfile)


Also:
If I change the 100 to 124 in Equity % risk it opens then 0.10
If I change the 100 to 125 in Equity % risk it tries to open now 44.22 lot which gives an error in the log file, not enough capital.

If not stop orders and I change to market orders, then it seems to calculate the lot size correctly.

Lastly, when at stop order type setting, another error I have is trades get placed but UI does not modify the order with the sl and tp I have in the settings. For market and limit orders it places sl tp.
Example: Gold, sl is 360 and tp 640, in expert log it says, SYMBOL_TRADE_STOPS_LEVEL=10: StopLoss and TakeProfit must no be nearer than 10 points from closing price.
But my SL and TP is far more than the 10 points and yet the EA when it opens a trade does not add / modify the order with the SL TP I have in the settings.

Some entries of your set file was wrong. I have corrected it uploaded it here with 3 % risk settings with your sl. You can change it to your desire risk percentage.
Regarding sl and tp for pending order, I have fixed a bug and updated new version 11.62. Please update your EA and check.

Dear Afsal vai,With due respect I would like to inform you that I am very pleased for you Universal EA.I am using a indicator by your EA. I have 2 suggestions for you if you kindly consider it.
1. LOT SIZE SETTINGS / Change--- BUy or SELL
I have a request to you please if you kindly add on EA Lot size.we can set manual lot size buy or sell.
If I set buy lot size =0.10 then sell lot size=0.20 or a manual settings.It will be very helpful for us.

2.Hide SL and TP. Maxium broker create problem.sometimes profits cross the TP but not close for broker manupulation.so if you add Hidden SL/TP then we would be helpful for us.
