Hello, fellow enthusiasts and profit hunters!

I want to share a small project that was born literally out of curiosity. I was browsing the forums once and came across the [FXI]TrendFinder indicator — I still didn't understand, is he looking for trends or does he create them himself? It looked like a Swiss knife: Ratchet, PAC, SquishSquash, and Heiken Ashi were found inside the code, and Stochastic and CCI were hidden. Not an indicator, but an orchestra. He draws arrows, predicts levels — everything is very mysterious and unconventional. I thought, "Why not attach an advisor to this miracle?"

Said and done. This is how TrendFinder EA was born, a robot that tries to combine all these signals and turn them into trading solutions.

What is inside the indicator and why is it unusual

The [FXI]TrendFinder indicator is not just two arrows. He is simultaneously:

• Building a smart Ratchet line that adapts to the market structure.

• Considers PAC (Price Action Channel) — dynamic boundaries.

• He makes SquishSquash— his own system of support zones (yes, the name sounds like a wrestling move).

• Adds filters based on Heiken Ashi, CCI and Stochastic.

• And, like the icing on the cake, it provides forecast levels — where the next arrow may appear.

The whole household works in conjunction, and honestly, I don't fully understand what kind of "secret sauce" makes the arrows appear at the right moment. But it was this intrigue that hooked me!

What the advisor can do

I didn't just open deals on the arrows. The adviser has acquired functions like a snowball:

• Three trading modes: arrow only, forecast only, or combined (arrow priority).

• Ratchet filter — prohibits entry against the "rat" (as we affectionately call the Ratchet line).

• Averaging/grid with adjustable pitch and lot multiplier (you can enable the active signal requirement for toppings).

• Safety stops: fixed SL/TP or ATR-stop, trailing, break-even.

• Closing using the reverse arrows — to avoid overstaying positions.

• Money Management — auto-calculation of the lot from the percentage of risk and protection against drawdown.

• Real—time information panel: signal, number of orders, profit, drawdown - everything is in front of your eyes.

Why am I posting this

I'm not a professional developer, but rather a curious enthusiast. Therefore, I am waiting for your feedback. Run the Expert Advisor in the tester, rotate the grid on the demo, try different modes. Maybe you can find the perfect settings for gold, or maybe you can identify a bug that I missed. In any case, I will be grateful for the feedback, even if it sounds like "dude, your robot is draining like it's not in itself."

This is an experimental project. The indicator can redraw the arrows (I've provided protection, but I can't promise miracles), and an unattended grid can make a fun life for a deposit. Please use a demo account first, and only then — if you believe in the magic of TrendFinder — real money.

Try it, poke around, and be sure to drop a couple of lines on the forum. Let's make the robot smarter together!

Hello, colleagues!

Are you tired of watching your ADVISOR meditate for half an hour while a bold green arrow has been hanging on the chart for a long time? Like, "I'll think about it at the next bar"? I've lost my patience too. Therefore, meet the updated version — TrendFinder EA v1.1.

In short: previously, the bot waited for the candle to close and only then scratched the turnip — to enter or not. Now he has learned to act as soon as the arrow appears on the current, not yet closed candle. That is, you see the signal → the bot sees it → in a split second, the deal is already in the market. No "wait, the bar will close now, I'll finish my tea."

Why did I do that? Because the Trend Finder indicator signals often appear at the very beginning of the movement, and waiting for another whole bar is to lose a good entry. It's especially frustrating on the lower timeframes, where every minute counts.

How does it work?

A new parameter "Trade on current bar" has been added.

• If it is turned off (by default), everything is as in the old version: only for closed bars, but super reliable.

• If enabled, the Expert Advisor is looking at the arrows right now, without waiting for the candle to close. Yes, the reaction speed increases, but there is a nuance: the indicator can redraw its arrows on the zero bar. Therefore, when the mode is turned on, I recommend leaving the Ratchet Filter check mark — it filters out some of the false positives.

In addition to the speed, I fixed a couple more points that personally infuriated me.

It is important that if the "Trade on current bar" parameter is left off, the EA will behave absolutely identical to the previous version (but with minor bug fixes). So the update is safe — you can just take it and use it as before.

To be honest, I'm not a wizard, I'm just a developer who's tired of waiting. If, like me, you like it when the robot reacts faster than you reach for the mouse, turn on the new mode and test. Just don't forget about the Ratchet Filter, otherwise your deposit may be surprised sooner than you expected.

Share your impressions, reviews, and screenshots of successful/unsuccessful entries. Profit for everyone!

Hello, fellow traders and sympathizers!

I've laid out your bundle of "TrendFinder EA + [FXI]TrendFinder" here. I must say right away: the indicator inside is packed with such a mess of CCI, Stochastic, Heiken Ashi, some kind of "SquishSquash" and PAC (apparently, "greetings from the 90s") that it's easier to write a novel than to fully process all the logic. But that's not what we're after — we need to launch an advisor, not defend a dissertation. Therefore, I wrote the instructions without any claims to the ultimate truth. Good luck and less "moose"!

I've adjusted the settings for the 2 Digits Broker. The EA isn't profitable, but maybe you can still optimize it. Keep at it, bro.
