I don't think so. I don't trust backtests, even if they are 100%. I saw so many 100% quality backtests that differs from forward testing.

That is correct.
The "100% quality" indicator in MT5 does not mean "100% identical to live trading."
It simply means:
complete historical tick data is available
maximum testing quality for that data
While a backtest with 100% quality is significantly more reliable than an MT4 test using modeled ticks, results can still differ from those on a live account.
For Gold EAs (XAUUSD)—which often utilize features such as:
pending orders
trailing stops
basket management
tick-based logic
tight entry points
—the most significant discrepancies usually arise from:
spread fluctuations
slippage
tick sequence
broker execution
signals occurring on the current candle
A practical rule of thumb:
If an EA is only marginally profitable in an MT5 backtest, it will usually perform worse in live trading.
If an EA demonstrates stable profitability in an MT5 backtest over many years and across various market phases—while maintaining a moderate drawdown—the likelihood of it succeeding in live trading increases significantly.
Therefore, an MT5 backtest with 100% quality should be viewed as a very good indicator, but not as a guarantee of live performance. The ultimate test remains a prolonged forward test on a demo or "cent" account under real market conditions.
