Suggestion: don't use martingale, maximum buy and sell 1. use indicators to close loss or profit positions
Hello to everybody,
i have invested a lot of time with backtesting The Flex 4.91 ( not the original!!)
(The original has to be purchased on the developers website)
So, first it looks very good, but in the recent time there was something, i dont like.
Had a DD on demo and was looking to backtest this period to see results in the backtest. The backtest looked first realistic and then after the 2nd BT the graf become smoother.
Either the EA wasnt working properly or there is something else that doesnt fit. So i want use this EA anymore cause dont like these uncertainties.
So be carefull with the version 4.91 !!!!
Recent i have tried the version 4.85, that looks realistic, but has to get a lot of optimizing in BT and decided to try other EAs

It's great on the backtest, but it blows up the real account.

honestly the EA is free but the setfiles is not,you need to pay but not huge amount of money. payment for my effort to configure the proper setfiles.

Hi people!
You use wrong settings on Flex EA. You should use a Shotgun strategy with several tweaks in EA properties and correct pair. I can drop here my set file if you interested. The main problem - it stops trading without any reason afterm a month or more.

I'm not sure if someone here already use it for long time or not, but I do make or setup with my own settings. Here is the first day I made with my settings. Not sure how long it gonna work.
P/S: The settings already backtest for 5 years, tested 10 times,sigh.. Make my pc slowing down.

Hurm. No worries man, it's just small account. But, in trade we do backtest even manual or by using expert. There is a lot of strategies, indicators and EA out there. If we don't backtest it or even practice it, then what the point we in here? It's a mistake if you don't know what you doing especially when you trade with your own strategy. Don't try to blame the EA, blame ourself why we don't want to learn the EA. The EA itself got lot of settings. If 1 strategy or EA work for you, then stick with that. You making money and it's yours. No offended, stay green.
The only strategy of this EA is to read the past history of the market....
And it is designed to deceive newbies.
