Hi Mastercool, thank you for your bot, can you please link the last update of your bot, not grid? No martingale ?
I will use your ic market referal link to open a realaccount

go to cortiea.com ,download it and make recovery step 1.
Corti is adaptable to any trading style, from low risk slow profit to high risk fast profit.

Thank you for the demo trial. My demo is set up with $500 and default settings. I see in the settings trading is for EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURGBP.

Do I need to put the EA on all three pairs or just one? What timeframe?

Thanks.

For a balance of 500,use this set 2299-LowRiskProfit.set.
For 1000+ use 1199-HighRiskProfit.set .

Thanks for the new set files. I will start a new demo. My current demo is running. I wonder there are two identical lot sizes open at the same time?

Is there a version for MT-5? What's the point of the MT-4 version if it can't be adequately tested.
It's just a trade for luck. For stable and safe algorithmic trading, a representative back test is required on high-quality quotes and in conditions close to real trading (real spread, swap, order execution).

If past results were indicative for future performance, we all would have been rich AF , based on the successful back tests of many EAs out there?
Yet here we are !!!

I prefer to forward test.

I hasten to disagree with you. What else can be guided by, if not the history of the algorithm on historical data?! Otherwise, all traders are like blind kittens.

Before developing any trading system, a system trader finds dependencies and triggers, which in the future give him an advantage in trading on a forward period. Yes, and with your post you question the works of the father of the theory of algorithmic trading, Robert Pardo, with his main work "Development Testing Optimization of Trading Systems". I advise you to read it, very informative!

Thank you, will have a look.
For me backtest are good to check the logic if it is behaving as its coded and find any bugs till final forward tests, nothing else.

The number of factors outside backtests impacting each market is too big to consider these backtest for future performance.
