New EA Amenothes EA

I am more interested about this earlier post of yours.

EA will take the profit on several symbol. He will take profit on the correlated pairs and leave the others or all closed according to the trends of the moment.

Here comes the springed coil folks...lets see if it makes it, this is a 0.02 progression involving 5 pair.

Late Edit: not yet...but he touched BE as a reminder that he is knocking on the door. As long as he stays near and low in progression I am good with that.

you mean sir all pairs trades close when there is X amount of profits , like this so, why not be applicable for any pairs we open not condition 28
I say that coz of DD i see sometimes big DD if we use only 6 or 10 it will be low DD

I do not think the EA deploys all 28 pair at the same time at least it does not for me. Instead it introduces a group. You need to give it choices. But your question was to the thread author as it should be...pardon the interupption.

Perhaps this EA is more than we think it is. But I am concerned about wanted's big DD.

Still no joy for me. The marty pairs don't want to give up the fight :)

Yes my lotsize is large, error at start, but the DD would still be there if at 0.01, as the pair(s) are going against the algo.

This is the EA that I am using from Here and the setfiles for a 5 buck profit. The first setfile is for the 27 pair...the 2nd setfile is for the EURUSD only.

You were using MM...it is best to use 0.01 fixed...see my setfile. The DD would be there, agreed.... but way, way less and much more tolerable.

I know ES, it was an error at the very start. I quickly launched the EA as Alc is a friend and I wanted to get going with it for him.

Anyway, thats not the point, I am not being very clear, apologies.

I just want to say that my current positions are going against the algo, hence 0.01 lot or 1.00, the result is bad (for the moment, and has been for 10 hours) for the EA.

But, its an EA that needs time, and not all indicators/strategies work 24/7. So I will keep it running.

I totally agree and of course understand concerning tolerance.

Hi Hossam
Cant see there being a major problem if you limit the number of pairs, all you are doing is limiting the number of possible entries. The EA is 'fishing' for positions.
You limit the pairs, you limit your loss, but you also remove other 'winners' from pairs you didn't select.
You would have to think about take profit being lowered/set differently with smaller pool of pairs.

Quick take profit on the later positions, those have been closed.
Now just stuck with the famous three pairs... (marty)

Sir the pairs are not arranged i am so confused i think there is some repeated pairs

Sorry for spam; last update before I leave my pc overnight. Some new positions and an increase on eur/usd.

Now have three pairs at level 2 marty. (3 x 0.25 )

You can reduce to the 10 most popular pairs

You will reduce the DD but the profit taking will be deferred
 
The main project of this thread is the EA test and see its qualities and defaults

Small changes will take place and even can be big changes to a version 2 depending on the results
