    Warning about the EA "ArtaTalenta_01" posted on 22. May in this thread!
    It had an excellent backtest. No losses at all! I was convinced and attached it to my Instacent live account where it did well. There were 2 trades in profit. Now, the third one is in a big floating loss. So I looked at it a bit closer now.

    What I found is the following:
    - I backtested it with a newly installed MT4 from January 2016 til now. The backtest was horrible.
    - I backtested once more in same MT4. The backtast was fantanstic.
    - I deleted the file "rl.txt" in the "Files" directory. The backtest was horrible again. The next BT was good again.
    - I deleted the file again, tested only 3 months (bad result) and after that the whole time again. Result: The first 3 months perfect and then very bad.

    Obviously the EA stores the future prices into the file "rl.txt" (which BTW is not a text file). So from the second performance the backtest is no backtest anymore because the EA knows the future prices!

    Unless I am wrong and there will be an explanation from the programmer who appears to be a scammer now, I can just warn from using this EA!
    And I am wondering why there are such people out there!

    thanks for warning us, so i do not easily to trust bt, and only ft any ea directly. thanks for kindly remind us for this useful discovery.:)

    this is why we need do demo first before put on live account.

    but i have different situation here, when i run test, i check, no file "rl.txt" there.
    i check at folder tester >> files
    it is right folder that i checked?

    Yes, it is that location. You can define the name of the file in the the EA-settings. If I were the scammer I would not have indicated the presence of such a file by listing it in the settings!

    I did not say that you have said I would be a scammer! ;) I am sorry if my writing could be interpreted in this way. I do not want to offend anybody.
    I wanted to say: If I would have coded such a scam EA then I would not have mentioned the file wich contents the future data in the settings of the EA.
    I would not have found it and would still think that it would be a tremendous EA.
    Sorry I am not good in formulating conditional tense.

    im sorry for little misunderstanding, now have better explanation, is clear now by the text i bold above ;):ok:
    im curious what inside the text file. Can you partially copy and paste here what inside that file? No need all inside, just partially. Or maybe upload the file here?
