I think the Icefx news filter sometimes forgets to re-enable autotrading. I have it set to disable EAs 30 min before major news, and to turn back on 30 min after. It's been 40 minutes since 'MPC Member Tenreyro speaks', but the AutoTrading is still shut off on my MT4 (I manually turned it back...

I've attached the update. I guess I'll continue testing with the recommended TP-10 SL-50. If any of you get better gains with other settings, let everyone know.

Thanks electric savant, I got the news filter working and I'm using your preset- except for the fact that I'm only trading the GPD/USD pair with this EA, so I modified the news filter setting to only stop trading around news events for GBP and USD. I figure there's no need stopping the EA around...

I've attached the IceFX news filter indicator to the chart, but it doesn't show the upcoming news events in the newsbox (and I made sure to click 'Allow DLL Imports')-
