I tested and optimized over 1000! EA-s (FT and not BT) and after so long experiment I've to tell you a backtest it's worth=zero. Forward test on demo is just a little bit better, but by no means crucial. The only one way you can judge an EA quality is at least 2000 trade on real account.

It is not so simply...better you use MT4.

1 year test without trade

Hi Oshaban, Congrats to your great job No Sleep EA. When I test an EA a start it always with an 1000 USD account, default set and fix lot size 0.01. When the EA does not work with huge DD, than it must be survive also extreme market behavior (holiday time low vola, first January week etc.)...
