What lot size did you use? it survived like a 1.2 year backtest on 0.01 lots. Albeit not from 100 dollars - that's just unreasonable. Use it as a grid EA - turn off the marti :) I am sincere I mean it does work however merely turning off the EA during EUR news and cutting losses may be all that...

This EA is more suited for less volatile pairs. Test and see my friend. Solid marti more like casino marti without news filter.

By nature I avoid scalpers too dependent on slippage and spread.

Default settings are robust, run on m5 always. I leave it to your good judgement. Demo before live to get a feel for the margin if you use on multiple pairs.

Coming from a new trader, what would be the results in a live environment with low spreads? Maybe a high chance of margin call with low leverage. I tried to reduce the lot size but the DD is not heavy in any sense. Seems locked at 0.1 lots.

I just realized you can use this as a low risk night scalper (trade only between 20:00 - 7:00 or per your time zone). Did not even crash with 0.10 lots on a 1k deposit. Recommended to use 0.01-0.04 on 1k. The time filter parameter is inside the EA.

The trade volumes are highly aggressive but there is a stop loss. I see, so I suspect this would be as profitable with commissions factored? Some brokers offer 1-2 pips spread without commission.

I currently use a paid EA called Black Star Premium. More conservative yet safer than this piece. The EA is on the MQL5 market.
